New Windows 10 Update to Ditch the Legacy Version of Edge Browser when Released on April

I have always wondered why Microsoft has not done away with the older edge browser it started with and then replace it with the newer update which is far better in every way. Well, it turns out that even Microsoft is tired of it as well and have prepaid an update for April 13 to remove the old edge browsers from our computers and our lives.

Microsoft’s as part of their Windows 10 cumulative monthly security update will now uninstall the older edge and replace it with the new one. which is  Chromium-based. This update is set to land on your windows on April 13 and there is no way to skip it as it is mandatory to update.

While the former edge Brower was great the chromium version which was released last year was even better and I have has such a great job using it. I even switched from using my chrome brower at a pint when I discovered how smooth and fluid it was and how less likely for it to start crashing when used for a long time..

Now that the Chromium version of Edge is coming, it’s important that you switch because the original one will no longer receive security update.  However, if you have been using the old edge when the update comes your user information and everything would be transferred to the new one.
