Twitter is rolling out a new “Tip Jar” feature that will allow users to send money

Twitter is testing a new feature that will let users send money directly to anybody’s account using the Tip Jar system. This feature is already rolling out and is to be available on Android and iOS applications respectively.

This is because Twitter has thought that there is a need to introduce an official payment system instead of people sharing their PayPal link when a post goes viral. They stated in their blog post that instead of adding different kinds of cash payment links to your Twitter posts to get support better twitter introduces a direct cashing system to get support without any third party. That payment system is called the Tip Jar to get tips to support your work.

The Tip Jar basically helps you to receive tips that will help you support your work and can be enabled or disabled. If you enable tip jar other users can see the icon next to the Follow button on your profile. When you tap on the Tip Jar icon you will see a list of payment systems which includes Bandcamp, Cash App, Patreon, PayPal, and Venmo. Any of these systems can be used to send and receive money.

The Tip Jar feature will now make things easy and people to easily get the support that they needed for the good work that they are doing on Twitter.
