“As part of our ongoing work took Google to make Twitter accessible for everyone, we’re rolling out automated captions for Voice Tweets to iOS,” Twitter said on Thursday.
When Twitter first rolled out the voice tweets on its platform a little more than a year ago it was widely criticized. This criticism was because of the fact that users wanted the voice tweets to have captions wish was absent when it launched. However, it has now taken twitter more than a year to add them as they announced Thursday.
The only problem as of now is that these captions only work for the iOS application of Twitter for the main time. Also, there are just 10 different languages that are available for captions. When you make a voice note captions are automatically generated in any of these languages. You can see generated captions to your voice note when you click on this CC icon which is at the top right corner of the voice sweet window.
The only problem now is that there is no time frame for which these captions will be coming to the Android platform. and also it is bound to not be perfect at first but maybe they are just waiting to perfect it before rolling it out on Android.
