SpaceX to launch a Dogecoin funded satellite to the moon

cryptocurrency really seems to be the way to go,  this is because more platforms are now accepting cryptocurrency as payment instead of traditional money. Space X is the latest on the bandwagon as they are now accepting payment in Dogecoin to fund a satellite named  DOGE-1 to the moon.

DOGE-1 is even named after Dogecoin this is because Elon Musk who is the founder of Space X is one of the coin’s highest-profile supporters. It seems that Elon Musk really want Dogecoin to succeed that is why he  continues to tweet Dogecoin memes and also refer to himself as “Dogefather”

The DOGE-1 satellite will launch in a Falcon 9 rocket from Space X station to the moon to carry out “lunar-spatial intelligence” using onboard cameras and sensors. This satellite is being sent to the moon by a company called Geometric Energy Corporation, the station will launch the satellite in the first quarter of 2022.

The Geometric Energy Corporation’s CEO says the transaction “solidified DOGE as a unit of account for lunar business in the space sector.” This mission is going to signify a new use and solidify Dogecoin’s position for the space exploration payment.
