PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular battle royal games on Android and iOS and has become really popular even available before the likes of Call Of Duty Mobile and warzone. This game has a vast majority of players that log in daily to compete with each other for the battle royal. However, the game was banned in India because of the game’s connections to Tencent which is their biggest investor.
PUBG Mobile has finally returned to India after a long ban
This ban was issued in September 2020 in India which is almost a year now, but things have taken a drastic turn. The game has returned back to the Play store with a new name called “Battlegrounds Mobile India” they also added changes like green blood and a new account system. Beyond these changes, the games seem to be pretty much the same, and you can even switch your old account from the older game to this new one.
PUGB India in an effort to come back to India has taken the reason for the ban seriously and has now severed all ties with Tencent and now moved all their servers to India. This is so that Indian user’s data would not be sent somewhere else, but stored in same India hence the name Battlegrounds Mobile India.
The games have not being relaunched yet but you can download it from the play store if you are in India while we wait for the relaunching of this new version of PUGB in India.
