Microsoft is changing its famous Blue Screen of Death to black in Windows 11
Windows 11 is almost upon us in fact the preview build is already up and running with millions of users running it. as part of changes included in Windows 11 the Microsoft blue screen of death has been changed to Black. So we no longer have the blue screen of death but now the black screen of death, the colour very much suits the message. However, the reason for the changing of the colour might be to match the black screen logon and shutdown screens.
All those who use the preview build do not have access to this because it is not yet enabled they have a green screen of death like with all preview builds. But it will be fully coming out once Windows 11 is properly made available. The blue screen of death was introduced in 2012 with Windows 8. and it has been one of the most painful and dreaded screens in Windows history. no idea why Microsoft would change the colour but I think it is to March the Logon and shut down colour as I said earlier.
