There have been rumors surging all over one after another circulating throughout the internet that the next iPhones we finally get an in display fingerprint scanner. Now a new rumor has come to light suggesting that we would not see a touch screen fingerprint ID on an iPhone for now. This is not surprising as we all know iPhones are always late to upgrade to the latest technology.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, his prediction is that anything Touch ID sensor underneath a screen will not come to an iOS device until sometime in 2022. This is why iOS users who are already excited that the iPhone 13 will be getting an in-display fingerprint scanner should take that with a grain of salt. According to the prediction of Ming-Chi Kuo in-screen fingerprint scanner might come with the iPhone 14. Also, there’s no word on which of the models will be getting this in-screen Touch ID from Apple when it’s time. However, we expect the high-end model of ios devices to get it like the pro and pro max.
If you are the type that is eagerly waiting for the iPhone 13 because of the in-screen Touch ID, you have a lot of waiting to do. I will recommend you get any other device with a touchscreen ID when the iPhone 14 comes out then switch to iPhone 14 when it is available.
