The P50 device has been so much speculated about that we actually thought there would be 3 devices on the series. But to our greatest surprise, we have only the P50 and the P50 Pro, maybe Huawei will unveil a Lite version later.

Huawei unveils the P50 and P50 Pro Specifications

The main selling point of this device is the cameras that’s why they come with a bump. For a while we all thought camera bumps are going away, They didn’t even show on some phones from last year. Now it seems the reverse is the case as most manufacturers now produced their phones with camera bumps.

The Huawei P50 series is no exception, Not one but two obviously bogus camera bumps housing the camera models. Inside the P50 Pro camera bumps,,, there are 4 rear cameras the main camera is 50 megapixel, with a telephoto 64-megapixel camera, a 40-megapixel monochrome and finally a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

The ordinary P50 has only three cameras which are a 50-megapixel camera, 12-megapixel telephoto, and a 13-megapixel ultrasound. The funny thing is that the P50 has a better optical zoom than the P50 Pro.

5G Capabilities

Another shocking and surprising thing is that this device both use 4G technology in 2021 were even midrange devices come with 5G technology. We do not know the reason for this but maybe Huawei thinks  5G is not yet realistic.

Display, Processor, and Storage

when it comes to displaying the P50 comes with a 6.5-inch OLED, 90Hz while the P50 Pro has 6.6-inch OLED, 120Hz, and a very large battery that has 66-watt charging. Also, P50pro comes with a Snapdragon 888 processor while the P50 comes with a Snapdragon 888 processor or a Kirin 9000 chipset. Both devices have RAM of 8gigs and storage space of 256 and up to 512 GB.

On the pricing level, the P50 Pro starts from 5,988 yuan (roughly $930, £665 or AU$1,256), While the P50 starts from 4,488 yuan (roughly $695, £500 or AU$940). Like I said earlier this device will be sold only in China for now before launching internationally.
