Google is taking a drastic turn with its new device that is about to drop this fall. Apparently, it has been on Google’s mind to one day complete with a premium-priced product when the time is right. Google has never mentioned this to anybody before but it has been revealed. Osterloh says that “We’ve definitively not been in the flagship tier for the past couple years, this will be different, it will certainly be a premium-priced product.” This means this device is going to be expensive or even more expensive than Samsung and Apple devices.

It now seems that Google now thinks the time is right that they take a break from using Qualcomm chipset and taking the Google Pixel line up to the next level. Osterloh also admitted that this is the first time they were feeling like making an ultra-high-end product. This device is going to be coming around October with not many details shared as of now. However, here is the little of the specs Google allow people from The Verge to see:
Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro Specs
Google is using a different socket on this device which is the Tensor SoC, a Titan M2 security chip. This chipset is specifically designed by Google to properly utilize the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro like no other chip can do. This new chip can push up computing power and bolster the video capabilities up to rival other Phones.
There is a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate on the Pixel 6 Pro that features a slightly curved Edge that blends into The Shining polished aluminum sides of the phone. While the Pixel 6 will only be coming with a 6.4-inch FHD+ screen and a 90Hz refresh rate with no curved edge. The pro version will come with 3 cameras, which are a wide-angle main sensor an ultra-wide, and a 4 x optical zoom folded telephoto lens on it. But the Pixel 6 will lose the telephoto camera. The cameras and flash are housed in a very huge camera bump and a different color strip at the top depending on the color you are getting.
