Once you launch your Fortnite after the big update to season 7, the first thing that you would discover is the elimination of the previous primal theme. Fortnite replaced it with the new theme Invasion, so instead of the primitive weapons and the wild animals, they would be placing their attention on extraterrestrial tech and alien lifeforms.

Fortnite Season 7 Map

With Fortnite shifting entirely from Primal to Invasion, a lot of changes have been made to the Map. At the center of Fortnite island where the spire was entirely ripped from the ground, a purple alien landscape remains after the aftermath. Elsewhere, Sweaty Sands has now become the believer beach, a party town filled with alien celebration and colossal crops now is a corny complex, a much bigger and area created for only Agriculture, reminiscent of the Frenzy Farm.

To add to the updated map, several points of interest, new alien-themed landmarks have now appeared on the island. One of the most obvious of these remains to be the monitoring station that features a big satellite dish that is facing the sky, and it includes:

  • Dinky Dish southeast of Craggy Cliffs
  • Discovery Dish west of Believer Beach
  • Dampy Dish southwest of Slurpy Swamp
  • Destined Dish southeast of Misty Meadows and
  • Dockside Dish West of Dirty Docks.

Fortnite Season 7 New Weapons

Lots of interesting new high tech have been included in Fortnite new weapons to aid in the fight against the alien threat. Among the new weapon is a pulse rifle that fires the high energy beam instead of bullets, a Rail gun that players can charge before firing in other to release a powerful blast, and a Kymera Ray Gun linked to Fortnite’s new character that basically vaporizes your opponents.

Aside from the new weapons, some interesting new tech has also been added to help you in battle, they include the recon scanner that you can use to detect if there is any threat close by. There are also a number of weapons coming straight from the vault, so if you missed using sniper and heavy-duty rifle, you would surely love to hear that you can now use them in the game.

Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass

The season 7 battle pass came with some significant changes, and as usual, an assortment of new skins to collect. Most notably, players now get to collect the battle star each time they level up. You also get to spend those stars on anything that you want, with the catch of being that higher tier items would not get unlocked until you have acquired X number of levels. So, you would still be required to grind out to level 100 to acquire the Rick and Morty stuff.

Kymera, the purple-skinned alien fellow that you would acquire early in the battle pass, is a character that can be customized. As you acquire alien artifacts in different locations of the map, you would be able to make use of them for customizations.

Also, you can buy the basic battle pass for around 950 V-bucks, and the Battle Bundle for 2,800 V-bucks. Now, you can purchase 1,000 V-buck for around $7.99, and for 2,800 V-bucks, you would spend $19.99.
