According to Bloomberg president, Joe Biden is reportedly to host a meeting on Wednesday for the purpose of discussing how companies will help improve cybersecurity. This is coming after the recent wave of security breaches and attacks around the world and the country. Yesterday $610 million dollars in cryptocurrency was stolen and returned back. These all point to the fact that the security system needs to be improved more than what it is now.
Cyber security meeting reportedly to be hosted by Joe biden with top executives
According to the report from Bloomberg Apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, and finally Amazon CEO Andy Jassy will all be in attendance. Joe Biden has also invited Google, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, and the energy firm certain company to the meeting also. Finally, the South company CEO Tom Fanning will also be present according to the report.
If you take note there has been a series of cyberattacks in the country, and this apparently is getting the president worried and seeking a solution. Incidents like the massive SolarWinds hack and the Kaseya Ransomware attack have made the news. and I think these are the kind of things the meeting will be made to address in the country.
