By simply saying “Alexa turn on adaptive volume” you can increase the volume of Alexa’s voice so that you can hear her even in a noisy area. If you live in a noisy environment or you simply have a noise like the sound of a dishwasher, music playing in the background, or any other kind of noise you can simply tell Alexa to raise her voice. This is a new feature Amazon is working on to solve the frustration of not being able to hear Alexa when there is any form of nuisance in the environment.

On the other hand, if you want Alexa to speak quietly maybe the noise has stopped you can simply ask Alexa to turn on whisper mode. The whisper mode has already been available on the Alexa devices it can be considered as the opposite of the adaptive volume mode. This is because while the adaptive volume mode turns up the volume the whisper mode makes Alexa whisper to you.

You can add a set volume when you only want to adjust the volume depending on a certain time. You can also add the same set volume up to your normal routine so that it activates at a certain time or you can make it a part of your bedtime routine.

This update is already currently being sent to US customers for now and it will get to other parts of the world later in the future. Though this feature is not yet perfect when tested we believe that as it gets updated it will.
